Dashboard guide
Overview
See how much you spend on AI, how much you call it, and whether that money is producing outcomes.
Overview is where you check the state of the whole service, on a morning round or at an end-of-month review. Start from the project total; per-variant comparison numbers are on the Compare tab.
The summary numbers and the trends chart
Section titled “The summary numbers and the trends chart”| Area | What you see |
|---|---|
| Four summary numbers on top | Total calls, cost (USD), p50 latency (the median response time), and error rate, each with the change against the previous period of the same length, green when the direction is good and red when it is bad |
| Trends chart | The flow over time. Toggle the Calls, Cost, p50, and Errors lines, and overlay success metrics and events (up to four) on the same time axis. Registered Primary metrics are on by default |
| Recent calls | The ten most recent calls. Click a row to open its detail |
Clicking the cost number opens Requests, and clicking the error rate number opens Requests already filtered to errors. Scanning the colors alone tells you the state, so on a day with no red marks you can stop there.
How to read it
Section titled “How to read it”Reading cost and call volume over the same period makes it clear when a change began driving overall usage. If the cost line climbs while the success metric line stays flat, you are only spending more, and it is time to look at cheaper variants in Compare.
When to open it
Section titled “When to open it”| Situation | Range | What to look at |
|---|---|---|
| Daily morning check | 7 days | The changes on the four summary numbers |
| Right after a routing change or deploy | 24 hours | Whether error rate and speed are spiking |
| End-of-month review | 30 days | The cost trend overlaid with success metrics |
